Ninth Annual Park Presidio Neighbors Festival

This year's Festival on September 16 2006 was a great success!  A fabulous San Francisco day greeted neighbors and the community, who enjoyed a full slate of activities, from handling a fire truck hose, to participating in the raffle for an Apple iPod.  Special thanks to the San Francisco Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Rec and Park for their time and efforts.  A special thank you to all those who volunteered in organizing and working at the festival, as well as to all new members of PPN (and those who renewed!).

19th Avenue/Park Presidio Transportation Plan Community Meeting Held on June 28th 2006

The San Francisco County Transportation Authority, in conjunction with Caltrans, Muni, Department of Parking and Traffic, Department of Public Works and the Mayor's Office is developing a Transportation Plan for the 19th Avenue /Park Presidio Corridor from Lake Avenue to Junipero Serra Boulevard.

The first of two community meetings for the 19th Avenue/Park Presidio Transportation Plan was held on June 28th.

Participating agencies presented a progress report on the corridor's upcoming transportation improvements, followed by a question and answer session about the Plan and any concerns with the corridor.
